Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your needs, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
