Emergency Eyewash Station
An emergency eyewash post must be located near the charging place. The route to the post must not be blocked and an employee who is injured should be able to go to the eyewash post from the charging area within 10 seconds without running.

The charger and battery must be at the same amperage. It should be turned off when the battery is being plugged in.
Open Flames
When in the vicinity of a battery and charging area, open flames are prohibited. Never allow objects like for example lighters or matches to be utilized when someone is checking the battery fluid levels.
Ventilation
