Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide range of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
During the year 1963, the business started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
