Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would normally use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to hoist workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
