Engineered for Safety
Yale is famous for offering safe lift trucks that are adaptable and flexible for many different tasks and applications. The ability to produce and design units for enhanced safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
Yale likes to integrate new technology that is available into their latest designs. Several of the new technologies which are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company conducts numerous reliability development and controlled field tests in order to make sure that their products are really safe.
To be able to improve overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed many new features, which have been incorporated on lots of models such as:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics in the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids fatigue as well as heavy repetitive motions. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the equipment user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Prior to starting their shift, the operator could make sure he or she is as comfortable as she or he can be.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation referred to as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machinery if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on internal combustion engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
